In space, it keeps moving due to the gravitational pull from the planets when it is near them. Because of this, it can speed past them with very little fuel. With that happening, I think it will reach Pluto, unless it collides with some sort of debris in space on the way.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08460368158127740417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1870840750677371661.post-69398084309827153372014-02-06T16:26:30.030-08:002014-02-06T16:26:30.030-08:00BV Period 2

It is traveling so many miles because New Horizons was sitting on top of a powerful rocket. When the rocket was launched, it produced an unbalanced force. This made the rocket move very quickly, and it gained a lot of kinetic energy. When a certain speed was reached, the rocket was released. New Horizons used inertia to keep moving. The probe might lose communication with NASA. I think New Horizons can reach Pluto ...SS Period 7

I think New Horizons can reach Pluto by 2015. This is because scientists carefully planned his spacecraft's flight; they weren't just sending it to space hoping for some good feedback. New Horizon is traveling a numerous amount of miles through space. This is able to happen because the magnetic pull of the sun and the planets are sending farther into space. A problem that i can think of that can happen is the scientists losing connection with New Horizons. They never know how far the space craft can get into space without losing connection with it. Also if it goes beyond Pluto, and beyond our Solar System, it can be a greater risk of breaking connection.
